How ToolVaultly privacy works
What happens when you use a tool
- Your browser downloads the tool. Like any webpage, the tool's code loads from our server once.
- Your browser does the work. Converting, calculating, generating — it all happens locally on your device.
- The result stays with you. Your files, photos and numbers never travel back to us. There is nowhere for them to go: we don't run processing servers for tools.
What our servers actually receive
Yes: the page request itself, and basic page-level analytics (which pages get visited, via Cloudflare Web Analytics — no cookies, no personal tracking).
Never: your uploaded files, your tool inputs, or the documents you generate. Those never leave your device because the tool never sends them.
Don't trust us. Verify us.
Open your browser's Developer Tools (F12), go to the Network tab, then use any tool — convert a photo, redact a PDF. Watch the network log: you'll see the page load, and then… nothing. No file upload requests, ever. That's the whole privacy model, observable in real time.
The ToolVaultly Standard
Every tool on this site must pass this checklist before it ships:
- ✓ Processes data 100% in the browser — no uploads
- ✓ No account or signup required
- ✓ No watermark on output
- ✓ No artificial usage limits
- ✓ Works on mobile
- ✓ Works offline after the page loads, where technically possible
- ✓ Tested to work correctly before release, re-tested on a schedule
Frequently asked questions
Can ToolVaultly see my files?
No. Files you open in a tool are processed locally by your browser's JavaScript engine. Our servers have no code path that receives them.
What about the analytics you mention?
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page visits without cookies or personal identifiers. It sees that a page was visited — never what you did on it.
Does the newsletter change anything?
No. The optional email list is handled by our newsletter provider and is entirely separate from the tools. Using a tool never requires an email address.
