Convert text to uppercase online free — and 8 more case styles
Short answer: paste your text above and click any case style — UPPERCASE, lowercase, Title Case, Sentence case, camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, kebab-case or a clean URL slug. The conversion is instant, unlimited, and runs 100% in your browser with no signup.
How it works
1. Paste or type your text into the box — a word, a paragraph, or a whole document. The live counter shows words and characters as you type. 2. Click the case style you want. 3. Copy the result or download it as a .txt file.
Title Case capitalizes every word for headings; Sentence case capitalizes only the first word of each sentence for body text. The programmer styles — camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, kebab-case — strip spaces and punctuation and rejoin words the way each convention expects. The URL slug mode goes further: lowercases, strips accents and special characters, and joins words with hyphens, so "Café Münchén 2026!" becomes cafe-munchen-2026.
When you need this
Pasted spreadsheet headers that need to be proper titles, an email subject typed in all caps by accident, code variables to rename between JavaScript and Python conventions, a blog title that needs a clean slug — retyping is slow and find-and-replace is error-prone. One click handles all of it, and because nothing is uploaded, even sensitive or client text is safe to convert here.
Frequently asked questions
How do I turn existing text into all caps?
Paste your text into the box above and click UPPERCASE — every letter is converted instantly. Click lowercase to reverse it. Nothing is uploaded; the conversion happens in your browser.
What is the difference between Title Case and Sentence case?
Title Case capitalizes the first letter of every word ("The Quick Brown Fox"), which suits headings. Sentence case capitalizes only the first letter of each sentence ("The quick brown fox."), which suits body text.
What are camelCase and snake_case used for?
They are naming conventions in programming: camelCase (myVariableName) is common in JavaScript, snake_case (my_variable_name) in Python. This tool converts plain words into either format, plus PascalCase, kebab-case and URL slugs.
Is there a text length limit?
No. Case conversion runs entirely in your browser, so there is no upload and nothing to meter — a full document converts as easily as a single sentence.
Is my text private?
Completely. Your text never leaves your browser — there is no upload and no server sees it. You can even run this page offline after it loads.
