How to organize PDF pages

  1. Choose your PDF — it stays in your browser and is never uploaded.
  2. Drag page thumbnails into the order you want, or use the Up / Down buttons on each page.
  3. Check the Position labels — they show the new order.
  4. Click Download reorganized PDF.

Why organize pages?

Fix a scrambled scan. Multi-page scans come out in the wrong order all the time. Move the important page first. Put the summary, the signature page, or the key exhibit where readers see it first. Touch-friendly. Dragging alone is frustrating on phones, so every page also has Up / Down buttons — the same reorder, without the drag. When the order is right, you can merge PDFs to append another document, or extract PDF pages to keep only the best ones.

Reorder, then verify

The Position label under each thumbnail always shows where that page will land in the new file — Position 1 is the new first page. Nothing is saved until you download, so you can shuffle freely and check the labels before committing.

Frequently asked questions

Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. The entire reorder runs in your browser with JavaScript — your PDF never leaves your device, which makes this safe for sensitive documents.
How do I reorder pages?
Drag thumbnails into place, or use the Up / Down buttons on each page. The buttons exist because dragging alone is unreliable on touch screens.
Does reordering reduce quality?
No. Pages are copied exactly as they are — same content, same resolution, no re-compression.
Can I move a page from the end to the front?
Yes. Drag it to the first position, or tap its Up button repeatedly until the Position label says Position 1.
Is my original PDF changed?
No. The tool builds a new file in the new order. Your original stays exactly as it was.
Can I also delete pages while organizing?
This tool only reorders. To remove pages, use the delete pages tool first, then organize what remains — or organize first and delete after.
What if my PDF is password-protected?
Password-protected PDFs can't be opened in the browser, so pages can't be reordered here. Remove the password in your PDF reader first.
Can I organize a PDF on my phone?
Yes. The organizer works on phone and desktop browsers — the Up / Down buttons are the touch-friendly way to reorder.
