How to rotate PDF pages
- Choose your PDF — it stays in your browser and is never uploaded.
- Click pages to select them, or use Rotate all pages for the whole document.
- Pick an angle — 90, 180, or 270 degrees — and apply it. Thumbnails preview the result.
- Click Download rotated PDF. The rotation is saved permanently in the file.
Why rotate pages?
Fix sideways scans. Scanners and phone cameras often save pages sideways or upside-down. Rotate only what needs it. One landscape table in a portrait report? Select just that page. Permanent, not a viewer trick. The rotation is written into the PDF itself, so the file opens correctly in every reader, printer, and phone — not just the viewer you happened to use. After rotating, you can organize PDF pages into their final order or crop a PDF to trim margins.
Preview before you download
Every thumbnail shows the page exactly as it will appear after rotation, including a badge with the current angle. Rotations stack — clicking Rotate selected twice with 90 degrees gives 180. Reset clears everything back to the original orientation before you download.
Frequently asked questions
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. The entire rotation runs in your browser with JavaScript — your PDF never leaves your device, which makes this safe for sensitive documents.
Is the rotation permanent?
Yes. The rotation is written into the PDF file itself, so the downloaded document opens already rotated in every reader, printer, and phone.
Can I rotate just one page?
Yes. Click pages to select only the ones you want, then rotate the selection. Untouched pages keep their original orientation.
Can I rotate all pages at once?
Yes. Use Rotate all pages to apply the chosen angle to every page — useful when a whole scan came out sideways.
What angles can I choose?
90 degrees clockwise, 180 degrees, or 270 degrees clockwise. Rotations stack, so applying 90 degrees twice gives 180.
Does rotation reduce quality?
No. Rotation changes only the page orientation flag — the page content is not re-rendered or re-compressed.
What if my PDF is password-protected?
Password-protected PDFs can't be opened in the browser, so pages can't be rotated here. Remove the password in your PDF reader first.
Can I rotate a PDF on my phone?
Yes. The rotator works on phone and desktop browsers — tap pages to select them, then download the rotated file.
